Net-Zero UK possible

The UK needs to become a net-zero greenhouse emitter by 2050 in order to comply with its Paris Agreement commitments, according to the Committee on Climate Change.

While the target sounds ambitious, it is achievable with existing technology, and would have many benefits for the economy, people and environment. It is also achievable with the level of cost to the economy that the government has already committed to.
